Astronaut Pizza Obtains Food Safety Management System 'FSSC22000 Certification'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Yangyu, a food tech company operating ‘Ujuin Pizza,’ announced on the 23rd that it has obtained the global food safety system certification ‘FSSC22000 (Food Safety System Certification 22000).’
FSSC22000 was developed with the participation of leading global food companies such as Nestl?, Kraft, Danone, and Unilever, and is an international standard for food safety systems recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). It adds the recommendations of the GFSI to existing food safety management requirements such as HACCP and ISO22000. Certification is granted through thorough evaluation of over 30 items including management responsibility, resource management, cleaning and sterilization, and product recall procedures.
With this certification, Ujuin Pizza has acquired all three top-tier safety standards in the food safety sector, including HACCP and ISO22000. Based on essential standards for hygienic food production, it secures product stability and plans to expand domestic and international distribution networks through the quality competitiveness of its own production factory.

The Bucheon factory, which produces all of Ujuin Pizza’s products in-house, manufactures high-quality frozen stone oven pizzas with strict hygiene management, the latest technology, and professional personnel. It uses a tunnel-type stone oven developed in-house that maintains a high temperature of over 600 degrees Celsius to make the products, and also possesses a rapid cooling system that preserves the unique smoky flavor of the oven immediately after production as a core technology.
