[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 22nd at 2 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the 2022 Nowon Cooperative Governance Agenda Priority Public Forum held in the main auditorium on the 2nd floor of the district office.
The event was organized to announce the cooperative governance agendas jointly planned by the public and private sectors and to select preferred agendas for 2022 through a resident vote.
A total of eight agendas were presented, and the priority public forum was broadcast live on YouTube.
To comply with COVID-19 prevention measures, the on-site attendance was limited to 50 people. The event proceeded with congratulatory remarks, a report on the progress of the community innovation plan, commemorative photos, proposal explanations for each project agenda, electronic voting, and announcement of results, attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok and Choi Yoon-nam, Chairperson of the Nowon District Council, among others.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon District said, “The public-private cooperative governance project is the realization of an open and empathetic policy where the thoughts of residents become policy.” He added, “I hope that through greater participation and deeper deliberation, the culture of cooperative governance will spread.”
