Instructor Arrested for Illegally Filming Students with "Camera Under Driver's Seat" During Driving Lessons
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] A male driving instructor in his 30s has been arrested on charges of illegally filming female students who came to practice driving.
On the 21st, Judge Sechang Lee, who is in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, issued an arrest warrant after conducting a pre-arrest interrogation (warrant substantive examination) of the driving instructor, Mr. Choi, stating there was a "risk of flight."
Mr. Choi is accused of installing small cameras under the driver's seat and other places inside the car used for driving practice while working in the Seoul area for four years, illegally filming women (violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes).
