[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seok-jun) conducted a regular personnel reshuffle for 576 local government officials as of July 1, 2021.
This personnel reshuffle consisted of promotions to fill vacancies in higher positions due to retirements and leaves of absence, as well as transfers to fill vacancies in various institutions.
The personnel changes include 158 promotions, 207 transfers, 29 new appointments, and 182 retirements and sabbaticals. Among the promotions, there are 1 at grade 4, 8 at grade 5, and 149 at grade 6 or below, totaling 158.
The promotions were given to officials who demonstrated their abilities in various job categories such as educational administration, librarianship, IT, engineering, facilities, driving, facility management, office operations, electrical operations, and mechanical operations.
To enhance administrative capacity at schools and revitalize the organization, those promoted to grades 5, 6, and 7, as well as newly appointed grade 9 educational administration officials, were prioritized for placement at frontline schools.
Transfers were assigned by comprehensively considering the transfer point system, characteristics of the institution (department), individual job competencies, preferences, and residential locations to place the most suitable candidates.
