The White House announced on the 16th (local time) that the first summit between U.S. President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin had concluded.
The meeting, held at "Villa La Grange" in Geneva, Switzerland, began at 1:30 PM and lasted about 3 hours and 30 minutes until 5:05 PM. This was relatively earlier than the initially expected maximum duration of up to 5 hours.
Both leaders left the meeting room and headed to their respective scheduled press conference venues.
