Changwon City Forms 'Youth Charter Council' to Establish Youth Charter
Proclamation at the 1st Changwon Youth Day Event
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that it has decided to establish the 'Changwon Youth Charter' to activate youth participation in youth policies and has formed the 'Youth Charter Council' and held its first meeting.
The Youth Charter Council consists of a total of 10 members: 4 experts related to youth policy, 4 youth representatives, and 2 related public officials. It is responsible for discussing and deciding from drafting the initial draft to the final establishment of the charter.
The meeting was held under the theme of 'Understanding Youth and Youth Policies,' featuring a special lecture by instructor Kim Minseong, followed by free discussion on the agenda.
In addition, they agreed to consider measures such as promoting the collection of opinions to check the feasibility of the drafted charter.

The Changwon Youth Charter will be established through direct participation of youth as a task of the '2024 Changwon-type Youth Policy Basic Plan' and is scheduled to be proclaimed at the '1st Changwon Youth Day Event' to be held in September.
