Hanwha Investment & Securities announced on the 16th that it has been conducting the 'Together Plus Financial Mentoring' event online (untact) since the day before.
The purpose is to cultivate the ability of specialized high school students to become economically independent and support their entry into society through economic and financial education. This event, now in its fourth year, was held this time in a way that reflected the COVID-19 situation by having students participate in internet video conferences from their schools or homes instead of inviting them to the headquarters.
Hanwha Investment & Securities will conduct financial mentoring for specialized high school students three times in total until the end of next month. About 90 students from Seoul Girls' Commercial High School, Busanjin Girls' Commercial High School, Jeju Girls' Commercial High School, and Yeonghwa International Tourism High School are expected to participate.
Kwon Hee-baek, CEO of Hanwha Investment & Securities, also participated by giving a lecture on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation. Student Im So-eun (Jeju Girls' Commercial High School) said, "It was difficult to go all the way to Seoul to attend lectures in person, so it was good to be able to listen and communicate online," adding, "The explanations about finance were easy and practical, which was very helpful."
