Meeting with 89-year-old Kim Chunseop, a Meritorious Person, to Deliver Daily Necessities and More
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Kim Kyung-sun, Vice Minister of Gender Equality and Family, will visit female veterans of the Korean War in honor of the Month of Patriots and Veterans.
On the afternoon of the 16th, Vice Minister Kim will meet with veteran Kim Chun-seop, who resides in Nowon-gu, to express respect and gratitude and deliver daily necessities. Along with officials from the Seoul Northern Veterans Affairs Office and welfare workers, she will inquire about the veteran's living conditions and health status.
Veteran Kim Chun-seop, now 89 years old, volunteered as a guerrilla infantryman at the young age of a teenager during the Korean War, serving for two and a half years and participating in combat with the 8240 Unit on the West Coast.
