Ericsen collapses during match, receives CPR... "Stable condition"
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Denmark national football team player Christian Eriksen collapsed and received cardiopulmonary resuscitation during the Euro 2020 match against Finland on the 12th (local time) and was transported to the hospital.
According to major foreign media, midfielder Eriksen suddenly collapsed near the left touchline around the 42nd minute of the first half in the match against Finland held in Copenhagen, Denmark, when the score was 0-0. He fell forward shortly after a short pass.
Medical staff performed CPR on the field for about 10 minutes. While teammates surrounded Eriksen, 16,000 spectators watched the scene in silence.
Afterwards, match officials set up a white screen, and Eriksen was moved off the field, and the match was suspended.
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced that Eriksen was transported to the hospital in a stable condition. The Danish Football Association also stated that Eriksen regained consciousness and was undergoing additional examinations at the hospital.
When the stadium announcer announced that Eriksen was stable and conscious, a huge cheer erupted from the stands. The match resumed after about 90 minutes.

Eriksen played alongside Son Heung-min at English professional football club Tottenham Hotspur but transferred to Italian club Inter Milan early last year.
