Among 9 Deaths Investigated by National Forensic Service, 5 Autopsies Completed... Preliminary Findings Notified to Relevant Agencies

According to Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, on the 12th, the National Forensic Service completed autopsies on 5 of the 9 victims in the morning and notified related agencies of the preliminary findings.
The victims died as the debris of the collapsed building crushed a city bus.
The exact official autopsy results are expected to be released in about a month.
The autopsies for the remaining 4 victims are expected to be completed by the afternoon. The victims who have undergone autopsies are currently undergoing funeral procedures.
Meanwhile, at around 4:20 p.m. on the 9th, a five-story building under demolition in the Hakdong redevelopment area of Dong-gu, Gwangju, collapsed and crushed a city bus on the road. The city bus was completely buried, resulting in 9 deaths and 8 injuries, totaling 17 casualties.
