View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 10th, Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced that it has signed investment agreements with 12 manufacturing companies in various fields such as logistics, automated agricultural robots, automobile and heavy equipment parts.
More than half of the companies in the agreement are steadily growing in the local manufacturing sector and expanding their business sites, while some have confirmed large-scale new investments to enter new businesses.
Representatives from 12 companies including Samjeong, Newtech Wellness, and Bukyung Plastic attended the agreement ceremony.
The total investment amount by the companies is 196.2 billion KRW, and they will newly hire 304 employees in the future.
The companies will sequentially carry out land purchases, facility investments, and new personnel recruitment by 2023 to move into AM Hightech, Innobiz Valley, Byeongdong, Deokam 2, and Easy General Industrial Complexes.
With this, the city has signed its fifth investment agreement in the first half of the year alone, achieving the largest-ever results compared to the same period with a total investment of 538.2 billion KRW and the creation of 1,697 new jobs.
