'Youth Community Activity Support Project for Revitalizing Local Community Facilities' Most Selected
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Recently, Gyeongsangnam-do has attracted attention by showing remarkable achievements in central government public contests, including being selected the most in contests hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
On the 9th, Gyeongnam Province announced that five cities and counties in the province (Gimhae, Goseong, Namhae, Hadong, Geochang) were finally selected for the "Youth Community Support Project for Revitalizing Local Community Facilities" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This contest is a project that supports youth group activities to revitalize underutilized local community facilities, providing 50 million KRW per youth group.
In particular, the province achieved a remarkable feat by having five cities and counties selected, overwhelmingly the most among the 20 project sites selected across 17 cities and provinces.
Additionally, in the "Village Management Office Establishment Project" hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, two cities and counties (Changwon-si, Miryang-si) were finally selected among 10 project sites.
