On that day, about 50 members of the Volunteer Fire Brigade Association and Provincial Assembly member Lee Hye-ja worked hard harvesting onions in a 1,400-pyeong (approximately 4,628 square meters) onion field.
The farmer who received help said, "It was difficult to find labor during the busy farming season, so I was worried and overwhelmed about harvesting onions, but thanks to the Volunteer Fire Brigade Association members who took the initiative and volunteered diligently as if it were their own work despite the hot weather, it was a great help."
