Gimhae City Supports Career-Interrupted Women in the 'Blue Ocean' Pet Sector
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 9th that it has secured 150 million KRW in national funding after being selected for the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s ‘2021 Regional Industry Customized Job Creation Support Project - Women Specialized Support Project’ competition.
The selected project is Inje University’s ‘Hope Sharing Support for Career-Interrupted Women Entrepreneurs.’
The project involves recruiting career-interrupted women who intend to start businesses in the companion animal sector, operating related certification courses, providing entrepreneurship education and mentoring programs, granting startup support funds, supporting technology commercialization at each startup stage, and offering follow-up management to support entrepreneurship.
