SC First Bank Helps Elderly Escape Digital Illiteracy... Trains 'Digital Tutors'

A digital tutor is a profession that helps the elderly overcome digital illiteracy. They guide the use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs necessary for daily life. They are mainly trained on the online education platform MKYU, operated by CEO Kim Mi-kyung, who is famous as a popular instructor.
This project was prepared to help bridge the digital gap among the elderly as the digital environment accelerates due to COVID-19. SC First Bank, together with MKYU, will produce related content to support the enhancement of digital financial capabilities for the elderly. In addition, it will focus on educating women in their 30s to 50s, including those with career interruptions, providing opportunities to work as digital tutors.
