[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the morning of the 5th, Chaehyunil, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the 'Anyangcheon Polar Bear Rescue Project' in celebration of Environment Day and took a commemorative photo with participants in front of the polar bear sculpture installed in the riverside park.
On this day, a ceremony was held to present plaques of appreciation to environmental contributors and organizations, and participatory experience booths such as eco-friendly polar bear candle making, bicycle repair booth, and Eco Mileage subscription booth were operated. Polar bear sculptures and photos were also exhibited to raise awareness about climate change.
