Gokseong County Mental Health Welfare Center Signs Business Agreement with Local Self-Sufficiency Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] On the 2nd, the Gokseong County (Governor Yoo Geun-gi) Mental Health Welfare Center announced on the 4th that it had signed a mutual cooperation agreement with the Gokseong Regional Self-Support Center to promote mental health and revitalize self-support projects for local residents.
At the signing ceremony, both organizations agreed to mutually cooperate in establishing a community safety net for customized mental health promotion management and responding to high-risk mental health groups.
To this end, integrated mental health services will be provided through inter-agency cooperation targeting residents participating in self-support work projects and individuals with mental illnesses. In addition, social welfare services will be supported through professional mental health consultation, education (suicide and depression prevention, life-keepers), counseling, and treatment linkage.
In particular, they promised to create a healthy environment overall by providing mental health education to prevent job stress not only for self-support center users but also for facility workers.
