Binggrae Launches Happybean Crowdfunding for Yoplait Eco-Friendly Goods
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Binggrae announced on the 4th that it will launch the eco-friendly campaign goods "Yoplait Gardening Kit" through Naver Happybean crowdfunding on the 5th in celebration of Environment Day.
Binggrae Yoplait has been conducting an eco-friendly campaign in collaboration with TerraCycle, a global recycling consulting company, since March. During the campaign period, Yoplait containers were collected from consumers who purchased the "Yoplait Zero Waste Pack" and upcycled into eco-friendly recycled goods, the "Yoplait Gardening Kit," through TerraCycle's special process, which is now being released.
The "Yoplait Gardening Kit" is characterized by sorting Yoplait containers by material, shredding them into flakes, and then re-extruding them to produce the items. The flowerpot was made by enlarging the original Yoplait container shape by 2.5 times, and the kit includes a seedling shovel, name tag, and zinnia seeds as components.
