The 'Energy Diagnosis and Improvement Support Project for Small and Medium Enterprises' is an energy efficiency project aimed at reducing the energy cost burden on companies and enhancing their competitiveness.
Energy experts diagnose the production process, propose energy efficiency improvement measures, and based on the results, support investments in energy-saving facilities.
The project targets small and medium enterprises located in the province that are experiencing financial difficulties due to COVID-19 and the economic downturn.
It supports energy diagnosis costs of 1.13 million KRW and facility improvement costs up to 13 million KRW (with at least 30% self-payment).
By April 30, a total of 110 companies applied. Among them, 20 companies were selected through a comprehensive evaluation of expected energy savings, equipment suitability, and industrial contribution.
The Korea Energy Agency Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters held a project briefing session on the 3rd, explaining in detail the background of the project plan, execution methods, and implementation procedures, sharing energy-saving cases and technical information, followed by a Q&A session with attendees.
