Uljin-gun "Get 20% Refund with Local Currency on Tourism Facility 'Package Products'"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Uljin County announced on the 3rd that it has been implementing the 'Tourism Facility Package Refund Project Using Uljin Love Card' since the 1st to revitalize major tourist attractions and the local economy within the county.
This project is part of efforts to break away from a nuclear power plant-dependent economic structure. It operates by refunding a portion of the facility usage fee to visitors in the form of credits loaded onto a card that can be used within the county.
When Uljin residents or tourists purchase a package of three or more tourist facilities, 20% of the payment amount is credited to the Uljin Love Card as a refund, and the credited amount can only be used within Uljin County.
The tourist facilities eligible for refunds include four county-operated facilities (Seongryugul Cave, Safety Experience Center, Insect Travel Center, Science Experience Center) and three privately consigned facilities (Wangpicheon Cable Car, Uljin Aquarium, Jukbyeon Coastal Skyrail). Among these, Uljin Aquarium and Jukbyeon Coastal Skyrail are included in the package upon their opening in June and July.
