Police Request Arrest Warrant for 50-Year-Old Man Who Fatally Beat Acquaintance During Argument
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] The police have requested an arrest warrant for a man in his 50s who fatally assaulted an acquaintance after an argument while drinking.
On the 2nd, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station announced that they had applied for a detention warrant against Mr. A on charges of injury resulting in death.
Earlier, Mr. A is accused of assaulting his acquaintance Mr. B in front of a restaurant in Gangnam-gu around 10:20 p.m. on the 20th of last month, resulting in Mr. B's death. Mr. B fell to the ground and hit his head severely; he was taken to the hospital but passed away two days later.
