On the afternoon of the 2nd, the 'People Power Party Leader and Supreme Council Members Joint Speech Meeting for Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam' was held at BEXCO in Haeundae-gu, Busan.
Among the Supreme Council candidates, former lawmaker Kim Jaewon was the first to take the podium, listing numerous experiences and stating that he would be responsible for the strategy to win next year's presidential election. He explained, "A presidential election strategy is not made overnight," adding, "I have experienced many election sites while serving as head of the party's strategic planning headquarters, floor leader, chairman of the policy committee, and senior secretary for political affairs at the Blue House. I will turn the party's supreme council into the supreme strategic command center in the crisis situations we will face in this presidential election."
Known as a 'digital expert,' lawmaker Lee Young emphasized that "elections are also science." Lee served as the head of the digital campaign headquarters and the big data strategy analysis headquarters during the April 7 by-election. He said, "The presidential election is a cyber war and data war," and added, "Among the supreme council members, there must be at least one science and technology expert."
Lawmaker Bae Hyunjin loudly declared that she would become a 'foot soldier' and 'support soldier' in the presidential election. Bae said, "Over the past four years, Bae Hyunjin has been in every corner of my phone's photo album. It was a very sad and sorrowful four years. Rain or shine, snow or wind, I was with you all," and vowed, "I will lead the fight so that you can follow with a smile amid the fierce struggle."
Lawmaker Cho Sujin expressed her ambition to be a striker at the forefront of the presidential election. She recalled her role as the spokesperson for the campaign committee during the April 7 Seoul mayoral by-election victory. She said, "I believe the Moon Jae-in administration must be decisively judged. What do you think?" and emphasized, "I have never held back. Now, please place me at the forefront for regime change."
Former lawmaker Jung Mikyung argued that 'exciting' reform and innovation from within must come first before regime change. She especially expressed the opinion that the party should be made for its members. She said, "If party members give me the answers, I will organize them well and toss them to the Yeouido Research Institute. If the Yeouido Research Institute refines them elegantly, I will present them again to the party members," adding, "Let's make our people excited so that we can achieve regime change."

Along with this, lawmaker Cho Haejin, based in Gyeongnam, pledged the revival and growth of local regions. Cho said, "It is true that the Seoul metropolitan area selection and concentration strategy has played a big role in shaping today's Korea, but because of that, the provinces have died, and because the provinces have died, the country has not progressed further," and added, "Public institutions, public facilities, and industrial facilities should be prioritized in the provinces. We must create new growth hubs in the provinces."
