"Come Heal on the Y-Shaped Suspension Bridge!"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that it will provide priority viewing opportunities for residents who were unable to visit the Y-shaped suspension bridge located within Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land, which has been temporarily closed since November last year.
Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land, home to the nation's first Muju Top Y-shaped suspension bridge, is Geochang's representative forest recreation facility created with a project budget of 27.5 billion KRW since 2014. It consists of a healing forest, natural recreation forest, forest healing center, and native plant garden.
Also, starting from April this year, Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land operates forest welfare services through a private consignment project, offering forest interpretation and forest healing programs from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year, allowing everyone from toddlers to adults to easily feel and experience the forest and nature.
The priority viewing period for residents is from June to July, every Monday and Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. Starting with Geochang-eup on the first day, pre-registration is accepted for up to 100 people per day at all eup and myeon offices up to Gabuk-myeon.
The route moves from the native plant garden to the Y-shaped suspension bridge and then to the barrier-free deck. For more detailed schedules, please inquire at the eup or myeon office of your residence.
