Haman-gun, Recruiting '2021 Harvest Season Wildlife Damage Prevention Team'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting the 2021 'Harvest Season Wildlife Damage Prevention Team' in preparation for the harvest season.
The recruitment of the damage prevention team was established to prevent crop damage through the organization and operation of exemplary hunters and to improve operational efficiency.
The number of recruits is 30, and the application period is from June 1 to 15.
The selection criteria include residents currently holding a hunting license issued by Haman-gun who have hunting insurance, those with hunting records at hunting grounds within the last 5 years or those with records of capturing harmful wildlife, compliance with permit conditions and activity log writing, and those who can actively participate in poaching and illegal trade prevention activities.
However, those who have violated the Wildlife Protection Act within 5 years from the date of capture permit application, violent criminals, violators of psychotropic drugs, alcoholics, and those with fewer than 50 dispatches in the 2020 harvest season damage prevention team operations are excluded from selection.
Residents wishing to apply can submit the exemplary hunter recruitment application form, consent form for personal information, etc., to the Environmental Division of the county office.

They plan to capture about 2,500 animals including wild boars, water deer, magpies, crows, wild pigeons, Korean squirrels, crows, bulbuls, and ducks to minimize crop damage caused by wildlife.
