KAMCO Signs MOU with Korea Land Safety Management Institute to "Enhance Audit Capabilities"

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) has agreed to cooperate with the Korea Land and Housing Safety Management Institute in audit operations.
On the 2nd, the two organizations announced that they signed a "Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Expertise in Audit Operations" at the 47th-floor conference room of the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC) headquarters in Busan. This agreement was established for KAMCO and the Korea Land and Housing Safety Management Institute to share know-how on integrity and anti-corruption activities, audit systems, and construction work and facilities.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will closely cooperate in ▲ mutual personnel support for collaborative and cross audits ▲ sharing information related to integrity and anti-corruption activities ▲ providing materials such as audit information, cases, techniques, and inspection methods ▲ joint workshops and joint training sessions.
In particular, KAMCO plans to utilize the expertise of the Korea Land and Housing Safety Management Institute in the "Special Audit on the Actual Performance of Public Development Construction and Contracts" scheduled for July. A joint inspection team will be formed to check the safety of facilities and quality management at public development sites.
