View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Korea Racing Authority Busan Yeonje Branch (Branch Manager Bae Gi-han) generously donated 3 million won to Yeonje-gu Senior Welfare Center on the 26th of last month, hoping to overcome COVID-19.
The donated funds will be used to prepare quarantine and relief supplies to help 100 vulnerable elderly people in Yeonje-gu who are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, providing psychological and emotional stability. These gifts will be used in the Yeonje-gu Senior Welfare Center’s ‘Dundeunhae孝’ event.
Lee Sung-moon, Mayor of Yeonje-gu, and Choi Hong-chan, Chairman of Yeonje-gu Council, who attended the ‘Dundeunhae孝’ event, encouraged the staff of Yeonje-gu Senior Welfare Center who assist vulnerable elderly residents in the district.
Both heads expressed, “We extend our gratitude to Korea Racing Authority Busan Yeonje Branch for their continuous support for community coexistence and development every year despite COVID-19.”
Bae Gi-han, Branch Manager of Korea Racing Authority Yeonje Branch, said, “I am honored to be able to offer some support to local elderly people struggling due to COVID-19, and we will continue to carry out activities that seek social value as a public institution.”
