Forecast and Hana Bank Join Hands to Promote 'ESG Finance'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) and Hana Bank have joined forces to promote ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) finance.
On the 31st, according to KDIC, the two institutions signed a "Comprehensive Business Agreement for the Promotion of ESG Finance." Under the agreement, KDIC will participate in securing funds for programs aimed at fostering excellent environmental companies promoted by Hana Bank. Both institutions expect that the collaboration between a public institution and a financial company will establish a model for activating ESG finance.
