Yeosu City Allows Private Gatherings of Up to 6 People Starting from the 31st
Stable COVID-19 Cases, Total 208 Confirmed
Social Distancing Level 1 Applied Until June 13
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shim Kyung-taek] Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do, has recently decided to allow private gatherings of up to 6 people starting from the 31st, as COVID-19 infections are stabilizing.
According to Yeosu City on the 31st, following a decline in large-scale spread since the 25th and ongoing positive cases among some self-quarantined individuals, "As of 9 AM on the 31st, the cumulative number of confirmed cases is 208, including 2 new positive cases reported on the 30th."
With the COVID-19 situation stabilizing, social distancing level 1 will be applied from the 31st through June 13th.
Accordingly, private gatherings of 7 or more people are prohibited, and operation of four types of entertainment facilities, holdem pubs, colateks, dance halls, and singing practice rooms will be restricted from midnight to 5 AM the following day.
