Gyeongnam Provincial Namhae College and Geochang College Currently Recruiting
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 31st that it is recruiting students for the basic education course for returning farmers and rural migrants, the '2021 Gyeongnam Returning Farmers Academy.'
This year, the operation of the Gyeongnam Returning Farmers Academy education course has been entrusted to Namhae College and Geochang College, both Gyeongnam Provincial Colleges, to strengthen the rural migration support capabilities of provincial colleges.
To help those wishing to return to farming or rural areas access it more easily, the course is operated as a short-term 4-night 5-day program that can be combined with daily life.
The number of recruits is 20 students per class per school, and the education targets are people aged 18 to under 65 who wish to return to farming or rural areas in Gyeongsangnam-do. Young returning farmers and rural migrants aged 45 or younger will be given priority selection.
The education content consists of an introduction to support policies for returning farmers and rural migrants, understanding the process of returning to farming and rural areas, consulting on returning to farming and rural migration, and visits to leading farms.

Applications can be submitted via email, internet, or fax, and applications must be received at least ten days before the start date of each class.
If selected as a student of the Gyeongnam Returning Farmers Academy, individuals only need to pay 125,000 KRW out of the total tuition fee of 500,000 KRW, with the remaining 375,000 KRW supported by Gyeongsangnam-do.
