Naver Recruits Son Ji-yoon, Former Ministry of Science and ICT Official, as LG Uplus Executive Director
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Son Jiyoon, Executive Director at LG Uplus and former official of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (now the Ministry of Science and ICT), is moving to Naver.
According to industry sources on the 30th, Executive Director Son will join Naver in mid-next month to lead a newly established organization.
Son graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Spanish Language and Literature, entered public service through the 42nd Administrative Examination, and served as Director of New Media Policy at the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Director of Radio and Broadcasting Management at the Ministry of Science and ICT.
He joined LG Uplus last year and is moving to Naver after about a year.
