Miryang City Holds 2nd Quarter Report Meeting on Citizen Inconvenience Improvement Tasks

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced on the 27th that it held the 2nd quarter report meeting on citizen inconvenience improvement tasks.
The citizen inconvenience improvement tasks, which started in the 4th quarter of last year, aim to identify and resolve small inconveniences that citizens experience in their daily lives in advance. Since last year, a total of 42 citizen inconvenience improvement tasks have been identified, of which 17 projects have been completed and 15 projects are currently underway.
In the 1st quarter, nine projects were completed, including simplifying the membership registration process for the Miryang Cultural Foundation, issuing card-type Miryang Love Gift Certificates, establishing an online system for large waste disposal, pre-disclosing automobile registration numbers on the website, installing riverside restrooms in Sammun-dong, improving lane operations at Sinchon Five-way Intersection, and maintaining the riverside next to Maamsan Tunnel.
The newly identified improvement tasks include installing unmanned civil service issuance machines at financial institutions, introducing mobile permits for telemarketing businesses, installing oval-shaped curb stones at bent points on major city roads, and the YES! Pet Zone, totaling 18 tasks, which are currently under review for prompt implementation.
