Professor Hwang Hyosil of Mokwon University Holds "Eleventh Solo Exhibition" at Daejeon Jisogal Gallery

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Professor Hwang Hyo-sil, majoring in Korean painting at the Department of Fine Arts, Mokwon University, is holding her eleventh solo exhibition.
Mokwon University announced on the 27th that Professor Hwang's solo exhibition will be held at Jisogallery in Guam-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, until the 18th of next month.
Under the theme "Facing the Sea and Each Other," this exhibition features more than 20 color paintings that reinterpret the relationship between the sky, the sea, and the artist's self and emotions confronting them.
Meanwhile, Professor Hwang has participated in over 400 exhibitions, including invitational, group, and planned exhibitions, starting with her solo exhibition "Landscape - Seeing There" in 2006.
She has also received awards such as the Grand Prize at the Daejeon City Art Exhibition, was selected as an Artist of Tomorrow at the Gyeomjae Jeongseon Memorial Hall, and won the Grand Prize at the Geumgang Art Exhibition.

Professor Hwang's works are held in collections including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Art Bank, the Government Art Bank, Nonsan City Hall in Chungnam, Nonsan Culture and Arts Center, and the Daejeon Seonhwa Christian Art Museum.
