"Understanding Electromagnetic Waves in Daily Environment" Video and Webtoon Contest... Minister's Award with 3 Million KRW Prize
[Asia Economy Reporter Seolgina Jo] The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 27th that it will hold a video and webtoon contest titled ‘Understanding Electromagnetic Waves in Daily Life’.
This contest invites original creations such as videos and webtoons on the theme of providing accurate information about electromagnetic waves generated in daily life from wireless communication services like mobile communication and wireless routers (Wi-Fi), information and communication devices such as mobile phones and wireless chargers, and home appliances.
The submission period is from today until September 30. Individuals or teams (up to 5 members) can freely participate. Application forms and entries should be submitted via email to the Korea Radio Promotion Association at ucc@rapa.or.kr.
The grand prize winner will receive the Minister of Science and ICT Award along with a cash prize of 3 million KRW. Additionally, a total of 13 million KRW in prize money will be awarded to nine winners, including the Director of the National Radio Research Agency Award, the Director of the Central Radio Management Office Award, and the Korea Radio Promotion Association President Award. Participants in the contest will also receive a small mobile gift certificate.
The awards ceremony will be held during the opening event of the ‘2021 Radio and Broadcasting Industry Promotion Week’ scheduled for November this year. The winning entries will be used as promotional materials both online and offline by related organizations to promote accurate understanding and information about electromagnetic waves in everyday life.
