View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jung-gu District Office (Mayor Seo Yang-ho) announced that LG Electronics and Lotte Hi-Mart have donated sponsorship funds to support the education of underprivileged youth in the area.
On the 25th, at the Deputy Mayor's Office on the 3rd floor of Jung-gu Office, Deputy Mayor Ma Chae-sook, Park Nae-won, Executive Director of Strategic Distribution at LG Electronics Korea Sales Headquarters, and Yoon Yong-oh, Executive Director of Lotte Hi-Mart's Living Division, attended and delivered a donation of 7 million won to Jung-gu Office.
LG Electronics and Lotte Hi-Mart explained that the donation was raised by achieving sales contest targets for products such as the Objet Collection vacuum cleaners sold from February to April this year.
The donated funds will be delivered as Dream Mentor textbook fees to low-income youth in Jung-gu through the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.
