Promotion of Vaccination Participation for Rapid Return to Pre-COVID-19 Daily Life
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do has launched a campaign to encourage participation in COVID-19 vaccination as the vaccination program begins in earnest, starting with the elderly.
Gyeongnam Province announced on the 26th that although it has been focusing on promoting compliance with quarantine rules, it will now carry out a campaign to expedite the return to daily life.
The province plans to produce posters and distribute them to all cities and counties within the province, as well as related organizations and groups, focusing on building a consensus among residents on the necessity of vaccination.
Additionally, the province will increase vaccination participation rates by utilizing TV subtitle broadcasts from local broadcasters, bus information systems and electronic billboards, as well as websites and SNS of various institutions.
Pre-booking is currently open until June 3 for seniors aged 60 to 74.
Reservations can be made online via the website or by phone. For those who find online booking difficult, assistance is available by visiting the local community service centers in towns and villages.
