Gungneung Heritage Headquarters and Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation Gungneung Utilization Project Contest
The Cultural Heritage Administration's Palace and Royal Tombs Headquarters and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation are accepting submissions for the palace utilization project "101 Ways to Enjoy the Palace" until the 30th of next month. Participants are invited to capture new places or stories set against the backdrop of the five major Joseon palaces (Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung, Gyeonghuigung) and Jongmyo Shrine through photo essays, videos, or drawings (sketches, webtoons). Individuals or groups of up to three people may submit up to two works. An official stated, "Submissions must comply with copyright law and other relevant regulations, and must be original creations with no prior publication history." Award-winning works will be selected through two rounds of expert review and announced in July. The grand prize winner will receive the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award and a cash prize of 3 million won.
