20-Person Cluster Infection Related to Sejong Sodam-dong Daycare Center (Update)
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Twenty people were infected with COVID-19 at a daycare center located in Sodam-dong, Sejong City.
According to the city on the 24th, as of 9 a.m. that day, eight daycare center children, three family members of the children, six staff members including teachers, and three family members of the staff at the daycare center in Sodam-dong tested positive for COVID-19.
Earlier, the city conducted proactive COVID-19 testing for childcare teachers in the area, and during this process, one person (Sejong 417) was confirmed positive on the 22nd.
As a result, on the 23rd, additional tests were conducted on close contacts and cohabiting family members, confirming 20 more positive cases at the daycare center in Sodam-dong.
