[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] BC Card announced on the 24th that it will hold an online event to stimulate consumption following the government's resumption of consumer coupon distribution to support non-face-to-face dining discounts.
The government consumer coupon dining discount promotion, resumed from 10 a.m. on the same day, is an event that refunds KRW 10,000 to the customer's account for every 4 cumulative orders of KRW 20,000 or more made through online delivery applications (apps). There are no restrictions on days (including weekends and holidays) or time, and up to 2 orders per person per day are recognized. Orders must be placed through a total of 14 delivery apps selected by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, including Baedal Minjok, Yogiyo, and Coupang Eats.
To receive the benefits, pre-registration on the event page within the BC Card or Paybook website or mobile app is mandatory. Users can register by logging in and clicking the registration button, or by entering card information even if not logged in. Additionally, combined use of BC Card issued cards is possible. For example, if a customer holding an IBK Industrial Bank credit card and a K Bank check card makes two payments with each card, the total of four payments will be combined to refund KRW 10,000. The BC Card issuers participating in the event can be confirmed on the event page.

BC Card will also conduct its own prize event to boost small business sales through consumption stimulation in line with the government consumer coupon dining discount event. This event will provide a total of 10,000 customers who pay with BC personal credit and check cards on delivery apps until the end of June with ▲ TOP Points worth KRW 1,000,000 (5 winners) ▲ Premium Toaster (10 winners) ▲ Coffee Machine (50 winners) ▲ Waffle Maker (500 winners) ▲ Starbucks Coffee Coupons (9,435 winners). Winners will be drawn on July 28 and notified individually.
