3rd Dobong-gu Job Creation Idea Contest
Anyone interested in Dobong-gu jobs can apply; the application period runs for 6 weeks from May 24 to July 2... Winners of the final evaluation will receive awards: Gold Prize (3 million KRW), Silver Prize (2 million KRW), Bronze Prize (1 million KRW), Encouragement Prize (500,000 KRW), and Effort Prize (300,000 KRW)
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) is conducting the "3rd Dobong-gu Job Creation Idea Contest" to discover hidden high-quality job ideas and reflect them in policies.
The contest period is from May 24 to July 2, 2021, and anyone with ideas for job creation in Dobong-gu can participate.
The contest categories include ▲ Fourth Industrial Revolution-related fields such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Internet of Things (IoT) ▲ Job creation for expanding startups and employment in public and private sectors ▲ Employment support services such as job training and job internships ▲ Specialized job projects utilizing local resources (historical cultural tourism, socks, etc.) ▲ Other free proposals related to job creation.
Applicants can download the application form from the Dobong-gu official website, fill it out, and submit it by registered mail or in person (6th floor, New Economy Job Creation Division, Dobong-gu Office, 656 Madeul-ro, Dobong-gu), or submit it via email (dobongjob2021@dobong.go.kr).
The submitted proposals will be reviewed by the relevant department based on four evaluation criteria: feasibility, job creation effectiveness, creativity of the project, and job sustainability, and the final decision will be made by the Dobong-gu Proposal Review Committee.
Winners selected as excellent ideas in the final evaluation will receive prize money ranging from 3 million won to 300,000 won.
Mayor Dongjin Lee of Dobong-gu said, "Jobs in the COVID-19 era must consider broad socio-cultural impacts," adding, "I expect that better quality jobs will emerge if the collective wisdom of diverse people is gathered. We ask for your interest and participation in the idea contest to create better 'my job.'"
