Yeonggwang-gun, 'Temporary Livelihood Support Fund' Applications Open Until the 4th of Next Month
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seong-jeong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 21st that it will accept applications for the 'Temporary Livelihood Support Fund' for low-income households facing crises due to decreased income from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic until the 4th of next month.
The eligible applicants are low-income households with a registered residence in the county as of March 1, whose income has decreased due to COVID-19 damage, with a household income at or below 75% of the median income and assets under 300 million KRW.
Recipients of Basic Livelihood Security (livelihood benefits), Emergency Welfare (livelihood benefits), and other COVID-19 damage support programs (Emergency Employment Stability Fund, General Taxi Driver Emergency Employment Stability Support Fund, Home Care Worker Livelihood Support, etc.) are excluded from this support.
Small-scale farmers, fishers, and forestry workers eligible for the Temporary Management Support Voucher may receive an additional 200,000 KRW difference from the Temporary Livelihood Support Fund if they meet the criteria.
The support amount is 500,000 KRW per household and will be paid in cash to the application account during next month.
