Daejeon Extends Social Distancing Level 1.5 Until the 13th of Next Month
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The social distancing level 1.5 in the Daejeon area has been extended until the 13th of next month.
Daejeon City announced on the 21st that, following the government’s policy, the social distancing level 1.5 will be extended for an additional three weeks.
The extension of the level 1.5 distancing period was decided reflecting the fact that nationwide confirmed cases have remained in the high 500s for three consecutive weeks and the average daily confirmed cases in the region is 10.6.
However, the city plans to strengthen inspection activities to ensure compliance with quarantine rules at multi-use facilities to prevent group infections, and will continue infection prevention activities by imposing administrative measures without guidance on violating businesses and facilities.
