Gimhae-si Launches Support Program for Installation of Emission Reduction Devices on Construction Machinery ... Applications Accepted from the 24th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 21st that it will implement a support project for attaching emission reduction devices to construction machinery.
This project supports the installation of emission reduction devices on three types of road-use construction machinery (dump trucks, concrete mixer trucks, concrete pump trucks).
The project was temporarily suspended following an emission reduction device inspection conducted by the Ministry of Environment in April last year, but this year, the project resumed only for dump trucks.
The support target is 12 dump trucks registered before December 31, 2005, based in Gimhae City. The subsidy amount is 5,248,000 KRW for medium-sized devices and 7,296,000 KRW for large-sized devices, depending on engine displacement and rated output.
The application period is from the 24th to June 4th. After checking the engine types of dump trucks eligible for emission reduction device installation announced on the city hall website, applicants can submit the low-emission device application form by visiting the Climate and Air Quality Division at city hall or by mail.
