KB Kookmin Bank Introduces Vaccine Leave for COVID-19 Vaccination
"Protecting Employees by Ensuring Sufficient Rest... All Processed as Paid Leave"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 21st that it will introduce COVID-19 vaccination leave to ensure employees have sufficient rest after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
This is to protect employees by guaranteeing adequate rest and to comply with government quarantine guidelines. Employees who have been vaccinated can use vaccine leave on the day of vaccination and the following day, regardless of whether they experience any adverse reactions, and all such leave will be treated as paid leave. If adverse reactions occur after using the initial two days of leave, an additional one day of leave can be taken.
For employees who continue to experience adverse reactions after using the additional leave, they must visit a medical institution for examination according to government guidelines. If treatment is necessary, leave can be used within the treatment period specified in the medical certificate.
