On the 21st, Gyeongnam Research Institute Takes First Step with 'Private Council'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Gyeongnam Research Institute and the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) branch of the Korean Transport Society held the 'First Meeting of the Private Council for the Establishment of the Metropolitan Transportation System' at the Gyeongnam Research Institute on the 21st.
This private council was formed at the end of April to spread public consensus among residents on the necessity of the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Megacity.
At the meeting, under the theme of 'Bu-Ul-Gyeong Megacity Concept and Transportation Strategy,' various discussions were held to expand consensus through social discussions involving residents across the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Megacity formation.
The keynote presentation introduced the background and purpose of the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Megacity plan, the justification for its promotion, the basic concept, and the transportation sector plan.
Following this, a discussion was held to explore social discussions and policy tasks for the formation of the Bu-Ul-Gyeong Megacity.
The opinions and tasks presented at the meeting are planned to be proposed for reflection in the metropolitan special alliance office, which is scheduled to launch next year through Bu-Ul-Gyeong consultations.
