Gyeongbuk Uljin-gun Opens 'Geumgangsongmyeon Waiting Room' in Samgeun-ri
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Uljin-gun announced on the 20th that on the 18th, Geumgangsong-myeon hosted an opening ceremony for the 'Geumgangsong-myeon Waiting Room' in Samgeun-ri, attended by more than 50 people including heads of social organizations, village chiefs, and rural hub revitalization promotion committee members.
The 'Geumgangsong-myeon Waiting Room' project was selected last June as part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' general rural development project. It was established to expand convenience, cultural, and welfare facilities in rural hubs and to foster residential service functions for rural residents.
Geumgangsong-myeon created a resting space and meeting place where residents and tourists can take a break, with a building area of 104.54㎡ at 217-1 Samgeun-ri and a total project cost of 207 million KRW.
