Recently, food and dining companies have been targeting the MZ generation by introducing menus with unique combinations and distinctive ingredients. Shinsegae Food focused on the potential of pepperoni as a new burger ingredient. Pepperoni is an American-style salami made by adding spices to ground meat and drying it, characterized by its salty and spicy flavor, and is mainly used as a pizza topping. While there is a dedicated fan base that prefers its unique taste and aroma, the only common way to enjoy it has been on pizza, which is often too much for single or two-person households, and there has been a steady demand for new ways to enjoy its flavor.
Accordingly, Shinsegae Food developed two types of 'Pepperoni Burgers' that can be easily eaten alone as a simple meal, as snacks for children, or as an accompaniment to beer and burgers (burger and beer combination) for adults. The 'Pepperoni Burger' features pepperoni placed on tomato sauce and a patty, topped with cheese.
The prices for the two types, 'Pepperoni Burger' and 'Pepperoni Chicken Burger,' are 4,000 to 4,300 won for a single item and 5,800 to 5,900 won for a set.

Along with the launch of No Brand Burger's 'Pepperoni Burger,' Shinsegae Food is promoting the new menu through videos and posters that reimagine the classic game 'Pac-Man' with a newtro sensibility. Additionally, through No Brand Burger's official Instagram, they are recruiting 100 participants for the 'Pepperazzi' social network service (SNS) experience group, meaning people chasing pepperoni, and offering opportunities to taste menus worth about 20,000 won, including the 'Pepperoni Burger,' at No Brand Burger stores nationwide.
