On the 18th, the Ministry of Education announced that, in accordance with the enforcement of the 'Educational Facility Safety Certification Operation Regulations,' it plans to accept applications from institutions and organizations wishing to perform certification tasks and designate them as specialized institutions.
Once designated as a specialized institution, for three years, they will verify the safety of educational facilities overall, including facility safety and indoor and outdoor environmental safety, and decide on certification status and grades. Experts in each field will suggest improvements for vulnerable areas in the certification report to support the creation of a safe educational environment.
