[Photo] Seoul Gangseo-gu Hosts 'International Safe City Research Project Final Report Meeting'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Amid growing concerns about safety due to the global pandemic, Gangseo-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Noh Hyun-song) is accelerating efforts to obtain international safe city certification.
On the morning of the 17th, the district held the 'International Safe City Research Service Final Report Meeting' at the district office's large conference room, attended by District Mayor Noh Hyun-song and project stakeholders.
Participants reviewed the progress of the project from its inception to date and exchanged opinions on the status of injuries and safety improvement measures in seven areas: traffic safety, suicide prevention, fall prevention and daily safety, violence and crime prevention, fire and disaster safety, school violence prevention, and cultural and tourism safety.
