This education was prepared to contribute to consumer protection activities for financially vulnerable groups as messenger phishing targeting these groups has recently surged. Nonghyup Card was allocated time to conduct financial education in the curriculum of Dae Multicultural School, an alternative school commissioned by the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, and plans to hold a total of six sessions this year.
The first session held on the 14th explained in an easy-to-understand manner cases of fraud prevention in daily life for multicultural students, including the recent surge in non-face-to-face secondhand transaction scams and damages caused by installing malicious applications (apps).

A Nonghyup Card official said, "Due to the sophistication of voice phishing and messenger phishing, financial fraud damages are increasing, so we prepared education targeting financially vulnerable groups who have limited access to financial information," adding, "We will continue to provide guidance on the latest financial fraud methods and promote ongoing education so that financial consumers can safely protect their assets."
