KFTC "Apply for National Scholarships Now with Financial Certificate"
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute (KFTC) is expanding the use of its Financial Authentication Certificate to the education sector.
According to KFTC on the 17th, the Financial Authentication Certificate has been applied to the Korea Student Aid Foundation's website and application (app). Starting the next day, it can be used for the second semester national scholarships, student loans, and work-study scholarships.
The Financial Authentication Certificate is a newly created electronic signature method by KFTC and domestic banks, issued and stored in its own cloud storage. It can be authenticated using a 6-digit PIN, pattern, or fingerprint without installing any additional programs. The validity period is three years and it is automatically renewed.
KFTC plans to continuously expand the use of the Financial Authentication Certificate throughout the education sector. In the future, it will provide login, course registration, and attendance management functions at domestic universities, cyber universities, and academic credit banks using the Financial Authentication Certificate.
